Coach Whitney becomes LCF general manager and Senior Head Coach

This is some big news and most fo y’all know already!

has been a staple in our community from day 1.

As the owner of LCF with my wife Kelly, we are so grateful for her.

We have officially brought on Whitney as our General Manager/Senior Head Coach.

Whitney has trusted us and has been able to see our vision for LCF since day one. Since then, we have undergone many changes in the gym and also as people.

The growth we have made together is incredible.

We’ve been able to go on business trips together to educate ourselves further in the industry we love, we have made and built relationships with he City of clearwater and we have become friends outside of the gym. The list continues….

Whitney has coached with passion and developed her skills as a coach, she has continued to mentor and encourage the members of LCF, she has taken on new responsibilities with grace and professionalism.

She is impacting peoples lives with care, compassion and with the CrossFit methodology.

Congratulations on the next phase of your career here at LCF!

We plan on it being a successful, fulfilling role.

We love you Whit!

Coach Andy runs a 1/2 marathon

Coach Andy ran a 1/2 marathon (13.1miles) on Sunday.

When you see him congratulations are in order. He trusted his CrossFit training routine and put his abilities to the test. He ran 7.5 miles last Thursday to test out his pace but that’s about it. In CrossFit training you see distances around the 10K (6 mile mark) on the high side. We might not program it but it doesn’t mean we never will…..

Andy here-I sought information from the LCF community to learn about pacing, fueling, strategy and some other tid bits. Shout out to Renee and Brandon for the help with that. It really made me feel educated on the endeavor. Thanks to all the people who supported me throughout the day in person and via social media!

This was a special event for me personally, thanks fam!

THE LCF SOCIAL AT HOB DUNEDIN

This was a fun time, it was great to see all the faces in regular clothes hanging out, laughing and having some livations! We loved that everyone brought their doggos too! I didn’t get pics of the entire event when it was packed but it looked like 40+ people where there!!!!

We are looking forward to the next event. Who has ideas?!

Rock climbing? Camping? Kerplunking???
