Welcome Coach Jason to the LCF FAM
Jason, welcome to the LCF FAMILY.
LCF FAM, if you haven’t been in the gym in a week or so you may not know the news. We have added Jason to our coaching staff as we are pretty excited about it!
Jason has a vast background in CrossFit and in coaching. For over 5 years Jason has been and athlete and a coach for a few gyms in the Clearwater and St. Pete area.
Jason has completed a 30 day working interview shadowing our coaches and earning his black and gold coaches shirt just like all the other coaches we have at LCF. Across the next month we will continue to push him to get to know you all and y’all get to know him!
Coach development is something all of our coaches are involved an and Jason will be doing the same. Yes he is knowledgable, yes he has passion!
Every CrossFit has a different culture, we are going to make sure Jason becomes one of us!

Coach Irma LEVELED UP!!
Lets go Irma! Two weeks back we hosted another CF L-2 and Irma attended! Upon completion of the 2 day seminar, Irma showed knowledge and competence in the theory ands active knowledge required to pass her CF L-2 exam and receive her newest certificate!!!!!
Congratulations Irma , we are so excited about your passion and youe continued desire to learn, evolve and take care of our community!
Sea Dog Showdown
Mat Hotho went to Jupiter , FL for an adaptive CF comp along with some of his fellow friends/ competitors from previous competitions like the Wheel WOD Games and the Adaptive CrossFit Games. Over the 2 days Mat was able to not just compete but finish first place and stand at the top of the podium for thr first time in competition!
He finished high enough in the OPEN to move on to the next phase of the season which is the online semifinals which will go down in May.
If he makes it past the semis, he gets to accept an invitation to compete in Las Vegas at the Adaptive CrossFit Games 2025!
